New Uber Pro: Coming soon to select cities

We asked drivers what would make Uber Pro better. The result? A more rewarding and flexible program built on your feedback.

The reimagined Uber Pro gives you more earnings opportunities and a better day-to-day experience. Uber Pro works like this: If you accept trips, cancel less, get riders where they need to go safely and earn points, then you can reach higher tiers and unlock better rewards.

Starting the week of September 1, the upgraded Uber Pro will begin rolling out in a city near you.

Great service earns you more

Gold, Platinum, and Diamond drivers will get more earnings opportunities

• 3-7% more earnings: Earn 3-7% more on trip fares for UberX and most other ride types compared to Blue drivers. Savings may vary by city.¹
• Access to Reserve trips: Gold+ drivers get access to Reserve trip requests, which means more opportunities for higher earnings. Premium-eligible drivers get access to Reserve regardless of their tier (subject to Premium vehicle criteria).

Improved day-to-day experience

New rewards help you save time and easily plan your day

• Extra Destination Mode: Platinum and Diamond drivers can use Destination Mode up to 3 times daily, and declines or cancellations will not end your session. Now you can get more trips that move you closer to where you need to be—more often.²
• Airport Queue Priority: Diamond drivers get placed ahead of lower tiers in the select airport queues.
• Easier tracking with Uber Pro Hub: A redesigned, easy-to-use hub that helps you track your progress, explore rewards, and see how close you are to reaching your next tier.

The rewards you know and love

All current Uber Pro rewards will continue to be available, including Rider Recognition, Priority Support, and Points Pass.

Eligibility for some rewards may shift as we update the criteria for Gold, Platinum, and Diamond, and we’ll share more details soon. Terms will apply.

You go the extra mile for your riders, now Uber Pro offers upgraded rewards that go the extra mile for you.  The new Uber Pro will be coming to more cities in the future.

¹Available only to Uber Pro Gold, Platinum, and Diamond drivers taking eligible rides. Certain earnings such as promotions, tips, tolls, and other third-party fees and operational expenses as stated on your receipt are not included in the calculation of additional earnings. The 3-7% additional earnings is in comparison to eligible earnings that a driver in Blue would earn for the same trip.  Uber does not guarantee drivers will experience higher earnings than earnings received prior to the launch of the new Uber Pro. Subject to change in Uber’s discretion.

²Platinum and Diamond drivers get an extra Destination Mode use every day, allowing up to 3 uses per day (up from 2) with fewer restrictions, so you can get trips that move you closer to where you need to be, more often. While in Destination Mode as a Platinum or Diamond driver, you can decline or cancel trips without ending your session, though these still count toward your acceptance and cancellation rates.
