- What is Hotels on Uber?
Hotels on Uber is a new way to search, book, and pay for hotels directly through the Uber app.
- Can I book a hotel from anywhere in the world?
Currently, to book a hotel on Uber, you must be located in the United States.
- Does Uber support booking home rentals or other property types?
Currently, Uber only offers hotel bookings, but we may offer other types of properties in the future.
- How do I pay for a Hotels booking made through Uber?
You can pay for Hotels using your credit or debit card, just as you would for rides or orders in the Uber app. Uber will pass your preferred payment card details from the Uber app to Expedia in order to process the transaction. Hotels booked through Uber are subject to standard Uber policies.
- How much do Hotels cost on Uber?
Pricing for Hotels varies and can be viewed directly in-app. In addition, Uber One members enjoy at least 20% off select properties, plus 10% back in Uber One credits on all hotel bookings.
- Is there a fee when booking Hotels through Uber?
No, there are no additional fees.
- How do Uber Hotel Benefits and Rewards work?
Uber One members in the United States earn 10% back in Uber One credits on eligible hotel bookings. To qualify for Uber One Credits from your Hotels booking, you must have an active Uber One membership. You can explore Uber One terms here.
- Where can I view Hotels bookings and confirmations?
You can view your upcoming, ongoing, and past Hotels bookings in the Hotels section of the Uber app, and your booking confirmations can be found in a confirmation email as well as the Activity Hub section of your Uber app. Your receipt for your Hotels booking will be sent along with the confirmation email and can be viewed in the booking details page directly from the app.
- How do I cancel my booking?
To cancel your booking:
- Go to the Hotels section in your Uber app.
- Select Reservations at the top of the page.
- Select the booking you’d like to cancel. Please keep in mind that you will only be able to cancel eligible bookings before your check-in time. Further information can be found in the cancellation policy section of your booking.
- How can I get a refund on my booking?
To receive a refund on your booking, you must book a refundable room. Not all rooms are refundable. You can tell whether your booking is refundable when you book.
- Can I book more than one room through Uber?
Currently, you can book only one room per Hotels booking. You can make multiple bookings if necessary.
- Why did my hotel search return no results?
This occurs if no hotels are available for your specific search criteria. Please adjust your search criteria such as your party size and travel dates to view available hotels.

²Uber One is a subscription that auto-renews. Your payment method will be charged according to the amount and frequency associated with your chosen membership at sign-up and upon the conclusion of any applicable free trial or promotional period. You can cancel your membership at any time in the Uber One section of the Uber app by selecting Manage Membership, then End Membership. If you cancel less than 24 hours before your next renewal day, you may see a charge that will be automatically refunded. Uber Cash or Uber One credits earned in connection with membership are revocable upon termination of membership. Except where prohibited by law, your subscription charge is non-refundable once your billing cycle begins. Use of Uber One is governed by the terms.
