MORE UBERS ON THE ROAD
We LOVE that you enjoy Uber and we want to make sure you always get a ride when you need one. You’ve shown Uber so much love since our launch in Cape Town in fact, that sometimes during peak hours it can be difficult to get a car. This makes us very sad! We want you to know that we are on it! We are working day and night with the professional driver community of Cape Town to increase supply and bring you more cars!
HOW DO WE DO THIS?
Here at Uber, we use our technology to connect you, the riders, with the existing professional driver community and their vehicles. Some of these drivers will drive Mercedes, others will drive Toyotas but what they all have in common is they are all professional. They are all fully licensed, take pride in their registered cars and keep them to the highest standards.
THE THEORY? We would rather have you safely in a licensed car, be that a Mercedes or a Toyota, with a professional driver than unable to access your private driver when you need him/her the most!
