  • To redeem the offer, you must have a smartphone with GPS capability, have downloaded the Uber app or signed-up at https://get.uber.com/sign-up/, registered and have active internet connection. Uber user Terms and Conditions (https://www.uber.com/legal/terms/za/) and Privacy Statement (https://www.uber.com/legal/privacy/users/en/) apply.
  • This offer entitles you to up to fifty (50) percent (a “Discount”) off each of two rides at a maximum of one hundred (100) South African Rands through the Uber App originating  or ending in the identified area in Sandton, Rosebank and Melrose (the “Promotional Area”) between 29 September 2017 and 08 October 2017 SAST (“Promotion Period”).
  • The Discount can be redeemed by applying the code “MeetPassat” ahead of the first ride.
  • The Discount will be deducted from the total cost of each Ride and rider will be solely responsible for paying the remaining fare. Any unused portion of the Discount cannot be rolled over and will be forfeited.
  • The Discount is valid only during the Promotion Period and any Rides must be taken during that time period.
  • The Discount cannot be transferred, duplicated or sold and there is no cash value.
  • The Discount cannot be combined with any other discounts, codes or promotions.
  • The Discount is limited to rides starting or ending in the Promotional Area (defined by the map below).

  

  • Successful redemption of the Discount is subject to the availability of Uber partner-drivers under the Vehicle View “UberPASSAT”.
