In Modesto, all drivers using Uber must pass a vehicle inspection before taking their first trip. This inspection may be performed by a licensed third-party mechanic in your area.
California law requires people driving with Uber to inspect their vehicle every year or 50,000 miles, whichever occurs first. Please download the form, print it out, and bring it to your vehicle inspection.

Get a free inspection at one of our Greenlight Spots in Sacramento or Fresno, or schedule an inspection with a facility licensed by the California Bureau of Automotive Repair. Note that Uber does not cover inspection costs when performed by a third-party mechanic.
