Driving is more than just getting people from point A to B.Every day, driver-partners do their best to make your life easier – from getting you to that big business meeting, first date or must-see match – they do it all.

You can now show your appreciation for going the extra mile by tipping your driver directly through the Uber app after the trip has completed. A tip is an extra way to say thank you to a driver that’s gone above and beyond the usual expected service. 

Did they use a shortcut to save you time when you were in a rush? Maybe they kept you entertained the entire way home with a stand-up routine worthy of a comedy club? Show your appreciation with a five-star rating and a tip at the end of your journey.

How it works:

1. Add a tip after rating your trip.
2. Select from a range of preset amounts or enter a custom amount.
3. Tap Done to send your tip.
