Taipei City Maternity Taxi now on Uber app

Redemption terms:

1. The system will automatically redeem one (1) Uber voucher of equivalent value for every 250 subsidy credits If the account balance contains fewer than 250 credits, the Uber Voucher value shall be calculated based on the remaining credits. Due to system limitations, Uber Vouchers cannot be redeemed when the remaining balance is fewer than 20 credits.
2. Only one (1) Uber Voucher may be redeemed at a time. A new Uber Voucher may not be redeemed until the previously issued Uber Voucher has been fully settled and closed. Redemption records may be viewed in the credit transaction history.
3. Uber Vouchers are valid only for UberX, Comfort, Comfort Electric, Uber Black, Uber Assist, Car Seat, Uber Pet, Green, UberXL, UberXXL, and Uber Taxi. Uber Vouchers are not valid for Uber Courier, Uber Eats, Taoyuan Airport pickup services, or Uber for Business trips. Uber Vouchers do not support cash payments.

General Terms:

1. This Uber Voucher is exclusively available to eligible beneficiaries under the Taipei City Maternity Taxi Program and is non-transferable.
2. Each Uber Voucher may be used only within twenty-four (24) hours after redemption via the selected platform App. Any unused portion after expiration will automatically become void, and the corresponding credits will be refunded.
3. Each trip is eligible for a maximum discount of NT$250. Uber Vouchers are valid for domestic use only. The drop-off location must be within Uber system’s operational area in Taiwan.
4. Uber Vouchers have no cash value and may not be redeemed for cash or converted into subsidy credits. The Taipei City Government is the sole issuer of such vouchers.
5. For inquiries regarding voucher redemption, please contact the Taipei City Government Department of Social Welfare at +886-2-2720-8889 or 1999 ext. 1622 or 1623.

Eligible pregnant individuals under the Taipei City Maternity Taxi Program who are among the first 200 users to complete one (1) eligible trip using an Uber Voucher will receive twenty (20) ride promotion codes, each valued at NT$50. The promotion codes are valid for six (6) months.

• A maximum of 200 promotion code sets are available, while supplies last.
• This promotion and related information are provided by partner fleets using the Uber system.
• All trips must be booked via the Uber App and dispatched by the fleet partners using Uber App.  
• This promotion is only available to users who are among the first 200 users to complete one eligible trip under the Taipei City Maternity Taxi Program.This promotion starts on 2026/3/3 at 00:00. In the event of any changes, the official announcement from the Taipei City Government shall prevail.
• The promo codes will be provided once the first 200 eligible trips are completed. Eligible users will receive $50 off twenty (20) rides and the promo codes will be automatically added to your Uber App account. The promo code must be successfully added to the user’s Uber App account before it can be applied. This code is non-transferrable.
• This promotion is applicable to UberX, Uber Comfort, Uber Black, UberXL, UberXXL, Uber Assist, Uber Car Seat, Uber Pet, Uber Green, and Uber Comfort Electric. Not applicable towards Uber Taxi, Uber Courier, Uber Eats, Uber for Business, and Taoyuan Airport pick-up trips.
• The promotion includes twenty (20) ride discounts of NT$50 each, valid when both the start and finish time of the trip are within the Promotion Period (six months from the date of receipt of the official Uber App email) and when both the pick-up and drop-off locations are within Uber system’s operating areas. It is not valid in other locations. Any excess amount charged for the trip (if any) shall be paid by the Uber App user. Unused discount amounts cannot be carried over.
• This offer can be used in conjunction with the Uber One membership program but cannot be combined with other promotions. Uber and the partner fleets jointly providing this offer reserve the right to modify the promotion at any time.
• Only one promo code can be used for each Uber trip. If you have entered multiple promo codes into the Uber App and these are all applicable for the trip,  the valid promo code with the highest value will be applied first.
• If there are reasonable grounds to suspect that a user is creating fraudulent accounts or violating the Passenger Transportation Agreement, Taiwan Rides Terms & Conditions and/or the Uber Community Guidelines, the user may not be eligible to redeem any promotion offer.
• For any questions, please use the in-app support under the “help” section to report the issue.

• A maximum of 200 promotion codes are available, while supplies last.
• The promotion provides NT$120 off a single order of NT$999 or more at designated Uber Eats Grocery & Retail (“優市)”merchants. Each account may redeem the offer once only.
• This promotion is only available to users who have received this promotional email sent by the Uber App.
• “Single order amount” refers to the subtotal after deducting:
  • Out-of-stock items;
  • Any price difference between originally purchased items and substituted items;
  • Delivery fees, service fees, and
  • Any other discounts applied.
• For avoidance of doubt:
  • If an item becomes unavailable, its price shall be deducted from the order total.
  • If a substituted item is priced lower than the original item, the price difference shall be deducted.
  • If such deductions cause the order subtotal to fall below NT$999, the promotion shall not apply.
  • The promotion is valid only within Uber Eats system’s operational territory in Taiwan and only at designated Uber Eats Grocery & Retail (“優市)” merchants.
• The promotion code is valid for six (6) months from receipt of the official email. The promotion is available while supplies last and may terminate early once fully redeemed.
• The promotion may be combined with Uber One membership benefits but may not be combined with other promotion codes.
• The discount does not apply to customized add-on charges. Additional charges must be paid separately.
• Actual product availability and pricing are subject to the information displayed in the App.
• Uber Eats reserves the rights to interpret, modify, amend, or terminate this offer.  The detailed terms and conditions, any modifications, and any matters not expressly provided herein shall be governed by the relevant provisions set forth in the Uber Eats App. If you have any questions, please report them via the in-app Help feature.
• You hereby agree and undertake not to use this offer in a manner that violates laws, regulations, or is otherwise improper. If such behavior is discovered, Uber Eats reserves the right to adjust or terminate said offer.
