Driver Requirements
Minimum requirements
Most people who hold a Qatari commercial driving license and are employed by a limo company are able to work with Uber in Doha. In addition to having a good driving record, you must aslo:
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Be employed by a limo company
- The vehicle year should be 2022 or latest
Required documents
There are a few documents we need to see:
Valid Qatari ID (Sponsorship under Limousine Company, the Limousine company must be registered with Uber)
Qatar ID must state that the occupation as "Driver/سائق"
Valid Qatari Light Vehicle Driving License
Valid Vehicle Registration (Registered under Limousine Company)
A driver profile photo
Must be a forward-facing, centered photo including the driver’s full face and top of shoulders, with no sunglasses
Must be a photo only of the driver with no other subject in the frame, well-lit, and in focus. It cannot be a driver’s license photo or other printed photograph.
In person training
After signing up, you will receive an invite to attend a training session via email.
It's easy to get started
1. Sign up online
Tell us about yourself and the car you drive. You will need to be employed by a licensed limousine company and meet the minimum requirements.
2. Share some documents
We’ll need a copy of your Qatar ID and some information for a screening. You can also sign your agreements online.
3. Join our onboarding session
You’ll receive an invitation to our in-person training session. At the onboarding, we’ll show you how to navigate the Uber platform and start earning.
