Terms & Conditions - UNTOLD ONE Contest

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the UNTOLD contest (“Contest”) organized by Uber B.V. through Uber B.V. – Bucharest Branch SRL (together with “Uber”) in Romania. By participating in this Contest, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Contest Organizer

The Contest is organized by: Uber B.V., a private limited liability company incorporated under the laws of the Netherlands with registration number 56317441 and registered address at Burgerweeshuispad 301, 1076 HR, Amsterdam, Netherlands, through Uber B.V. – Bucharest Branch SRL, registered under Romanian law (Bd. Primăverii no. 19-21, building B, 2nd floor, Bucharest, Sector 1), acting as a marketing support entity.

2. Contest Period

The Contest will take place between May 15, 2026, 00:00 EEST – May 24, 2026, 23:59 EEST (the “Contest Period”).

3. Eligibility

3.1. This Contest is open only to individuals who meet all of the following criteria:

a. Are legal residents of Romania.
b. Are at least 18 years old at the time of entry.
c. Have an active and valid Uber rider account in Romania.
d. Have an active Uber One subscription and continue doing so on the entire contest duration
e. Have successfully registered for the Contest via the designated method provided by Uber.
f. Have not participated in more than one contest organized during the same period; in the event of multiple participations, only the first entry submitted will be considered valid.
g. Are not employees, directors, or officers of Uber, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising or promotion agencies, or their immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings, children) or household members.

3.2. Uber reserves the right to verify eligibility and disqualify any participant who does not meet the criteria or violates these Terms.

4. How to Participate

4.1. To enter the Contest, eligible participants must:
a. Have an active Uber rider account and an Uber One subscription in Romania.
b. Register via the specific in-app channel or communication channel provided by Uber during the Contest Period. Registration is mandatory.
c. Achieve the highest total number of completed Uber rides and Courier trips in Romania during the Contest Period (May 15, 2026, 00:00 to May 24, 2026, 23:59:59). Only rides and Courier trips that are completed and requested and paid for through the Uber application will be taken into account. Only trips completed after registration/enrollment into the raffle will be counted. Cancelled, uncompleted, or trips not initiated through the Uber application will not be considered. For the purpose of determining eligibility within the Contest Period, the count shall be based on the local request timestamp of each ride or trip.

4.2. Each unique Uber user account is considered one entry. Attempts to manipulate the number of rides, including but not limited to fraudulent rides, repeated cancellation and reordering of rides, or the creation of multiple accounts, will result in immediate disqualification.

5. Winner Selection

5.1. Winners will be the ten (10) eligible participants who achieve the highest total number of completed Uber rides and Courier trips in Romania during the Contest Period (May 15, 2026, 00:00 to May 24, 2026, 23:59:59), as determined in accordance with Section 4[c].

5.2. In the event of a tie, ranking will be determined based on the highest total monetary value of completed rides and Courier trips (excluding tips and promotions) during the Contest Period. If a tie still persists, the tied participants will be ranked based on the highest total number of lifetime completed Uber rides and Courier trips on their account as of the end of the Contest Period.

5.3. Each winner shall receive one (1) ticket to the UNTOLD ONE Festival.

5.4. The determination of winners will take place on May 28, 2026, before 16:00 EEST.

6. Prize

6.1.The total prize pool consists of ten (10) individual tickets, allocated as follows:

• ten (10) tickets to the UNTOLD ONE Festival, taking place at Cluj Arena, Cluj-Napoca, Romania, from 6 to 9 August 2026.

 6.2. The award is one ticket to each of the ten (10) winners selected, resulting in a total of ten (10) tickets distributed.
6.3. The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash.
6.4. All other expenses (travel, accommodation, food, drinks, personal expenses) are the sole responsibility of the winner.
6.5. Uber reserves the right to substitute the prize with one of equal or greater value if necessary.

7. Winner Notification and Prize Claim

7.1. The provisional winner will be notified via email and/or phone within 48 hours of selection.
7.2. The winner must respond within 48 hours to confirm eligibility and accept the prize. Failure to respond or meet eligibility may result in disqualification and selection of another winner based on the ranking.
7.3. The winner may be required to sign eligibility, liability, and publicity release forms (where permitted by law).
7.4. Uber will coordinate ticket delivery with the winner and may share necessary contact details with the festival organizer.

8. Publicity

8.1. By participating, the winner agrees to the use of their name, city, and image for promotional purposes without additional compensation (unless prohibited by law).
8.2. The winner grants Uber broad, irrevocable rights to use their name, image, voice, and related content worldwide, in any media, indefinitely, for promotional and contest-related purposes.

9. Data Protection

9.1. Uber will process personal data in accordance with its Privacy Notice and applicable laws, including GDPR and Romanian legislation.
9.2. By entering, participants consent to the collection and processing of personal data (name, email, phone number, ride count) for contest administration.
9.3. Winner data will be shared with the festival organizer solely for prize fulfillment.

10. Taxes

10.1. The winner is responsible for complying with Romanian tax laws and paying any applicable income tax.
10.2. Uber will inform the winner of the prize value for tax purposes.

11. General Conditions

11.1. Uber may modify, suspend, or terminate the Contest at any time without prior notice.
11.2. Uber’s decisions are final and binding.
11.3. Uber is not responsible for technical failures or issues affecting participation or notification.
11.4. Uber is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury related to participation or prize use.
11.5. This Contest is not considered gambling under Romanian law, as the winner is determined by a verifiable criterion (most rides), not chance.
11.6. These Terms are governed by Romanian and EU law, and disputes fall under Romanian courts.
11.7. Participants agree to indemnify Uber against any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from their participation, breaches of Terms, or misuse of the prize.
