Important information for Commercial Drivers driving at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL):
If you drive an Uber Black eligible vehicle:
You can pick up passengers requesting an Uber Black or Uber Black SUV trip at the airport through the Uber app.
However, you must obtain an airport permit, acquire a transponder, and pay all required airport fees directly to ATL.
If your vehicle has commercial plates (must begin with the letters “LM”), but is not eligible for Uber Black:
- You cannot pick up passengers at the airport through the Uber app unless you are part of an ATL-registered fleet.
- You can still drop off passengers at the airport.
