Always benefit from higher fares
The fare you set is the minimum you want to receive. When surge pricing is higher, you will always receive the higher fare.
Higher fare multipliers may result in fewer trips
Riders can accept or decline trips at the fare you set. If you set your fare too high, you may get fewer trip requests.
