Vehicle requirements in Poland
Which car is right for you? Make sure it meets the vehicle requirements in Poland, and remember that you’ll make more money if you keep your costs low.
Vehicle requirements:
- 4/5 doors, in good condition
- steering wheel on the left side
- a minimum of 5 spaces on the vehicle registration certificate
- registered in the European Union
- with valid insurance and technical inspection
Documents
- registration certificate
- liability Insurance
- vehicle taxi excerpt (An application for a vehicle excerpt is valid for 30 days while the person awaits the original excerpt. Once the person receives the original excerpt, they must upload it to the system)
- photo of the car showing the registration number, city marking, and taxi lamp

UberX

Requirements:
- 2005 model year or newer
Available: All cities in which we have Uber.
Hybrid
Eco- friendly trips.
Requirements:
- the registration certificate must state "EE"
- 2005 model year or newer
Available: Warsaw, Krakow, Trojmiasto, Wroclaw, Poznan, Lodz, Silesia, Szczecin, Lublin, Bydgoszcz, Rzeszow.
Uber XL
Seat extra passengers and charge higher fares with a higher-capacity vehicle. See the list of UberXL-eligible vehicles at the top of the page.
Requirements:
- Vehicle registration must include the information “7 seats available”
- Seats at least 7 passengers(passengers should be provided with sufficient space to sit comfortably in the car's third row)
- 2005 model year or newer
Available: Warsaw,Krakow,Trojmiasto,Lublin,Szczecin, Torun, Silesia, Wroclaw, Poznan, Lodz, Radom, Bialystok, Bydgoszcz, Czestochowa, Rzeszow, Zakopane.
Comfort
The 'Comfort' option offers enhanced comfort with superior vehicles and skilled drivers. See the list of eligible vehicles at the top of the page.
Requirements:
an accepted taxi ID must be added to the account
the vehicle must be manufactured in 2018 or newer
the driver must review the best practice video
the driver must accept the updated service standards
the driver must maintain Uber Pro status at Gold+
Available: All cities in which we have Uber.
Uber Black
Black means premium rides with highest rated drivers. This special product is dedicated to our most demanding riders who really appreciate riding in comfort and style.
Requirements:
minimum of 50 trips completed
the driver must maintain a rating of at least 4.92
the driver must visit the office, where GLH experts take photos of the car showing the registration number, city marking, and taxi lamp
combi cars are not accepted
the vehicle must be manufactured in 2020 or newer
the car must have a dark exterior, without stickers or advertisements (Uber branding excluded)
the driver must watch a short video on delivering a high-quality Black experience
the driver must complete a brief assessment
the driver must review and accept the service standards
Available: Warsaw, Krakow, Lodz, Lublin, Poznan, Silesia, Trojmiasto, Wroclaw, Szczecin, Lomza.
Courier

- Terms & Conditions must be accepted
- 2005 model year or newer
