INCENTIVES FOR THE MOVENZ CAMPAIGN IN NEW ZEALAND

NOTE: You will only qualify for the incentive periods that are specifically sent to you by text message, subject to meeting the required conditions.

The incentives below will only apply if you have received a text message about them.

During the periods shaded gray below, during the period we’re guaranteeing certain partners a minimum of $40/hour in fares if they meet the applicable conditions.

This incentive will be valid from 26th September 2016 through to the 25th of October.

THE DETAILS

Qualifying for the incentives is simple!

For $40 hours:

• Start a minimum of 20% of your trips in the Lower Hutt service area (see highlighted area in map below)
• Complete an average of at least 1.5 trips per hour across each incentive period

Meet these criteria, and we will ensure at a minimum you will make our hourly guaranteed rate in fares.

Here’s how it works. Say you are online for 15 of the $40 peak hours, earn $400 in fares, and meet all conditions:

Uber’s guarantee: 15 x $40 = $600 in gross fares

Incentive payout: ($600 – $400) x 75% = $150

If you earn more than the minimum guaranteed amount, you will be paid your fares minus the Uber fee. The top-up won’t be needed!

A few things to note:

• The guarantee is for gross fares (before Uber’s 20/25% commission).
• Any top-up will be reflected in the Miscellaneous Payments section of your weekly payment statement (you won’t see it on your phone during the week).
