One Million Rides – Free Friday wrap-up
Thank you so much to all our partners who drove on Friday 25 September to help Uber celebrate one million trips in New Zealand! It was an amazing day, and thanks to your support, we delivered 2.5x the normal number of rides during the promotion hours, reaching thousands of riders!
We also got some great media attention, with stories on the Uber milestone featured 0n stuff.co.nz, NZ Herald, and TV1 Breakfast.

As most of you will know, Uber sponsors many events, and it’s a great source of rides for our partner drivers. We’ve recently set up a website to make Uber event sponsorship easy!
Our partners are the eyes and ears of Uber and know about more events than the Uber team will ever find ourselves!
