UberX Auckland Information

Thanks for applying to be an Uber driver-partner in Auckland. The next step is for you to:

attend one of our Information Sessions this week

When you come to a session, we’ll cover how Uber works, how more than 1,500 New Zealanders have partnered with Uber to earn a flexible income, and answer any questions you may have.

To complete your profile you’ll need to submit a background check request and provide Uber with all required documents (see below for details).


INFORMATION SESSIONS

Come to Parnell Trust, 545 Parnell Road, Parnell at any session listed below (RSVP here – please arrive by start time):

Thursday 21 April: 12pm, 6pm

Friday 22 April: 12pm

Saturday 23 April: 12pm

From Tuesday 26 April, come to the Uber Partner Support Centre, 1 Kenwyn Street, Parnell at any session listed below (RSVP here – please arrive by start time):

Monday to Friday: 12pm, 6pm

Saturday: 12pm

At the session we’ll run through how Uber works, take copies of your documents to run a Ministry of Justice criminal history check and and NZTA driving history check, and answer any questions you may have. This will take about 45 minutes.

 

Don’t forget to bring the below required documents with you.

 


WHAT TO BRING

Please bring the following documents along to your onboarding session:

Driver’s Licence

  • NZ Full licence
  • Held for at least 2 years
  • Age is 21 or older

 

Vehicle Insurance

Bring your Insurance showing:

  • Your name listed as an Insured Driver
  • Car Make, Model, Year and Rego
  • Current Expiry Date
  • Your policy must be “Comprehensive” or “Third Party” with these words clearly stated

Vehicle Registration

  • Get a photo from the outside of your windshield clearly showing expiry and vehicle info.
  • Vehicle must be 2006 or newer.

Current Warrant of Fitness

  • Take a photo of the sticker from the inside of your vehicle, clearly showing the expiry and licence plate
