A. Fiscal benefits (taxes, etc)
As a Self-employed driver you are entitled to:
- delay or distribute the payment of personal income tax arrears. They would be arranged in the same manner as any other tax arrears.
- Personal income declaration and income tax payment postponed by 2 months (until 1 July).
- State Tax Inspectorate has announced a list of quarantine-affected taxpayers that will be exempt from fines and default interest in case of late tax payments. Other companies can also apply to get those benefits.
- The government has also suspended enforced recovery of debts to the State Budget (from resident income).
B. Loans/ credits (lease specific if available etc)
As a Self-employed driver you are entitled to:
- loan interest compensation for up to 6 months (during a loan payment holiday), preferential loans, financial guarantees provided by INVEGA.
C. Wages – state subsidies
- Self-employed persons who are prevented from continuing their activities due to an emergency or quarantine should receive a fixed monthly payment of € 257.
- Self-employed can choose not to pay compulsory health insurance contributions during quarantine and emergency and continue being insured. They would have to cover this debt in 2 years after it was over.
- Personal income declaration and income tax payment postponed by 2 months (until 1 July). The payment of personal income tax arrears can be distributed/delayed.
- The government has also suspended enforced recovery of debts to the State Budget from resident income.
- Possibility to agree upon an extended payment schedule for communal services (electricity, heating, water).
