Pay as you go. It’s easy, you know!

Paying for a ride has never been this easy in Sri Lanka. Uber offers multiple options that let you choose what is most convenient for you. Some of us prefer to pay cash while others prefer to go cashless.

Currently you can choose the following methods in Colombo;

• By Cash

  Sometimes, the good old way is the best and most convenient for you. You’ll be shown your ride price upfront.

• By Card

  Hate fumbling for change? Enjoying the convenience of a cashless life? Just save your card details on the Uber app – it’s completely safe and easy.

• By Google Pay

  Riders with Android Devices can pay using Google Pay if your Google Account is already setup with payments details.

Adding a Payment Method;

• Go to ‘Payment’ on the main menu
• Add ‘Payment method’
• Choose Cash, Credit / Debit card or Google Pay
• Enter your details and save them

You can set one of these payment methods as your default. Switch to another anytime, just before booking your ride. It’s as simple as that!
