Sarfraz Maredia is global Head of Autonomous Mobility & Delivery at Uber, leading the teams responsible for all of Uber’s autonomous marketplace and fleet operations, commercial strategy, partnerships, and expansion efforts. Prior to this role, he led the two largest businesses at Uber as Vice President for Mobility in the US & Canada, and most recently as Head of Americas for Uber Eats. He first joined Uber as a General Manager in 2014 and has held a number of senior operating roles over the years.
Sarfraz currently serves on the Board of Directors of Serve Robotics (Nasdaq: SERV), a leading developer of AI-powered sidewalk delivery robots. Before Uber, Sarfraz was VP of Corporate Development at IQVIA (formerly IMS Health), a global information and technology services company focused on healthcare. Earlier in his career, he advised technology clients as a management consultant at Bain & Company and was an investor at Texas Pacific Group (TPG) as well as Dodge & Cox.
Sarfraz is a proud graduate of the University of Texas at Austin. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters.
