24/7 Safety Support

Uber Taxi offers 24/7 support through our Safety Support Center, ensuring continuous assistance for customer safety.

While on a trip, tap the shield icon on the bottom right of your trip screen or the 'Safety' button at the bottom of the card to access the safety features screen.

We provide 24/7 support for safety-related inquiries, ensuring quick assistance.

In case of an emergency, use the in-app safety toolkit to immediately connect to 112 for assistance.

Real-time Trip Sharing

Share your trip status with family and friends in real time.

  • Tip: Manage your trusted contacts under Account > Settings > Safety > Manage Trusted Contacts.

Step 1: You can share your trip status through the trip details available during your trip.

Step 2: Tap on your saved contacts to send them a text or push alarm. You can also send the link via KakaoTalk.

Step 3: Your contact can still receive your real-time trip details via the link even without the Uber Taxi app.

Detection for long stops : Ride Check

With RideCheck, one of Uber Taxi's safety features, you can quickly check if everything is OK with your ride.

Step 1: Enable RideCheck Notification to receive messages during your trip.

  • Settings > Safety > RideCheck

Step 2: You'll receive a RideCheck notification when it detects potential issues, like an unexpected long stop or when the trip ends sooner than expected.

Step 3. If there's an issue with your trip, please tap 'Customer Support' for assistance. If everything is alright, tap the 'I'm okay' button.
