Amman, Your #uberPITCH Is Arriving Now

Uber and ArabNet teamed up to make life-changing moments available on-demand, in five cities across MENA.

Startup warriors, entrepreneurs and dreamers – your big break is arriving now.

This weekend, we’re launching #UberPITCH, and anyone with 15 minutes and a good idea can submit an application and request a ride. On May 9th, from 11am – 3pm, regional startup heroes such as Saeed Omar, founder of StartUpJO, Rasha Manna, Managing Director of Endeavor and Sima Najjar, CEO of eKeif will listen to your ideas in Amman.

TWO STARTUPS WILL BE SPONSORED BY UBER DUBAI AT ARABNET DIGITAL SHOWCASE MAY 27-28th!

Two start ups will be sponsored by Uber Dubai to participate in the ArabNet Digital Showcase May 27-28th. Participants will have the opportunity to pitch for 3 minutes on stage, speak with 70 industry leaders in a closed meeting, and a booth for their startup.

Whether you spend your weekends building your app or brainstorming the next big thing — UberPITCH is your chance to get in front of some of the region’s most accomplished investors at the ArabNet Digital Showcase.

HOW IT WORKS

• Download the Uber app for iPhone, Android, or Blackberry
• Submit an application for your startup here before 5pm on May 7th
• If selected, you will be emailed a promo code to unlock the uberPITCH view
• Between 11 am – 3 pm Saturday, May 9th, request the UberPITCH option via your app
• If connected, you’ll have 7 minutes to pitch and 7 minutes for feedback
• Rides are free and will start and end at your pickup location
• Two winning startups will be announced May 11th

There are thousands of strong ideas, but just one UberPITCH per city, so demand will be high. If you don’t secure a pitch on your first attempt, keep trying!
