Building at Uber Taipei
Uber values
At Uber we’re reimagining the way the world moves for the better. We are helping people go anywhere and get anything. And we do it on a global scale, at the speed of now.
Uber Eats|Taipei 101
Uber is a nationally salient brand where the "Tonight, I'll be eating..." tagline went viral and was even quoted by President Tsai In-Wen in her diplomatic announcement. We also took over Taiwan’s most recognizable landmark, Taipei 101, to help bring in the New Year.
Our return to the office
It’s still early days as we look to find the right long-term model for Uber, yet we want this to continue being a great place for our current and future employees, and that means adapting to different needs. Our hybrid work approach focuses on increased flexibility.
Meet the team
Chai Lee
General Manager, Delivery Taiwan
"I joined Uber because of the chance to leave a legacy in Taiwan's history. Uber Eats has transformed the Taiwanese food and beverage industry, and we are now pushing the new frontier of eCommerce with next hour delivery. The team is passionate and full of purpose, and there is never a dull day!"
Raymund Li
General Manager, Rides Taiwan
“I find that ownership probably describes the most unique thing about Uber. For me, it manifests in two ways. First, all of our teams and colleagues demonstrate an incredible amount of resilience and commitment across any challenge - they do everything they can for Uber, as if Uber was their own business. Second, each of us takes an Uber hat on in decision-making. We always put what is best for the company first, not just what is best for our own markets, teams or roles.”
Mike Chi
Head of Sales, Delivery Taiwan
“At Uber, we solve problems with a group of the best minds. This is a place full of ideas and enthusiasm. I will never get bored of it!”
Anne Huang
Consumer Operations Manager, Uber Eats Taiwan
“I enjoy working at Uber as we learn by doing. We stay flexible when facing new challenges, and we derive insights from lots of experiments to make science-based decisions.
We also always remind ourselves to do the right thing, passionate about what we’re doing, and work as a team to grow the business together with entrepreneurial spirits. Proud of being a member of Uber Eats Taiwan!”
