With the buses out of action on Friday & Saturday last week, Dubliners took advantage of our #KeepDublinMoving offer in their droves to share their commute and get 50% off their fare by doing so!
Split Fares didn’t just mean big savings for Dubliners. It gave a glimpse at the real environmental impact Uber’s technology is bringing to ground transportation around the world. So, we thought we’d share a sneak peek into some of the data from the #KeepDublinMoving offering last week.
Over 2 metric tonnes of Co2 emissions saved per thousand trips.
4,510 fewer miles driven in Dublin per 1,000 trips. That’s 35 journeys to Galway City from O’Connell Street!
597 litres of petrol saved per thousand trips, or €84,057 saved in petrol expenses!
Thank you for splitting your fare, Dublin. You did your bit in reducing congestion and keeping emissions to a minimum during the strike 🙂
