Vehicle requirements in Hungary

Vehicle requirements:
- 4/5 doors, in good condition
- Steering wheel on the left side
- A minimum of 5 spaces on the vehicle registration certificate
- With valid insurance and technical inspection
- Working windows and air conditioning
Required documents:
- Vehicle Registration Certificate
- Extract from Operating License
- Hungary vehicle branding photo
- Taxi Rank Usage Permit (only for Budapest and Miskolc)

Taxi
The most popular product, most drivers choose it.
Requirements:
- 4-door vehicle in good condition
- Seats at least 4 passengers in addition to the driver
- Model from 2015 or newer
Available: All cities in which Uber App is active.
Taxi XL
Seat extra passengers with a higher-capacity vehicle. See the list of Taxi XL-eligible vehicles at the top of the website.
Requirements:
- Seats at least 6 passengers (passengers should be provided with sufficient space to sit comfortably in the car's third row)
- 2015 model year or newer
Available: Budapest.
Taxi Comfort
The 'Taxi Comfort' option offers enhanced comfort with superior vehicles and skilled drivers. See the list of eligible vehicles at the top of the page.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 100 trips completed
- Rating of 4.85
- 2020 model year or newer
Available: Budapest, Debrecen.
Taxi Green
Eco- friendly trips.
Requirements:
- the registration certificate must state "EE"
- Model from 2015 or newer
