New Uber App User “Pair & Pay”* Taxi Trip Offer

Offer to enjoy HK$100 off the first Pair & Pay trip and 10% off on subsequent Pair & Pay trips (capped at HK$20 per trip)

• *The “Pair & Pay” feature enables an Uber app user to link/pair a street-hailed taxi trip to the app by scanning the QR code displayed on the Pair & Pay card inside the taxi. Upon successful pairing to the Uber app (“Pair & Pay trips”), the street-hailed taxi trip fare will be automatically settled via the Uber app at the end of the trip using the user’s selected e-payment method. The user will also enjoy the in-app safety features and customer support services. Cash payment is not applicable to Pair & Pay trips and to avoid duplicate payment, users should not pay cash to the driver-partners after the street-hailed taxi trip has been successfully paired.
• During the Promotion Period, Eligible New Users will be able to enjoy HK$100 off their first Pair & Pay trip for a maximum of one time, and then 10% off on all subsequent Pair & Pay trips (maximum HK$20 discount per trip), collectively the “Offer”. Any excess trip fare amount shall be paid by the user. Any unused discount amount cannot be deferred, accumulated, or refunded.
• The promotion period is from today until January 31, 2026 (the “Promotion Period”). The Offer is subject to availability and quota is limited on a first-come, first-served basis.
• An “Eligible New User” is a new user of the Uber app who has never registered any Uber account before and must have completed a Pair & Pay trip as his/her first-ever Uber trip. For the avoidance of doubt, the new user must have created his/her first-ever Uber account via scanning the QR code on the Pair & Pay card displayed in the street-hailed taxi vehicle and the same trip must be successfully paired to that Uber account before arriving at the designated destination.
• This Offer is only applicable to street-hailed taxi trips successfully connected to the Uber app and settled using the “Pair & Pay” feature. The Offer is not applicable to any other ride options which are booked via the Uber app or trips settled with cash payment.

• Uber does not represent or purport to act on behalf of driver-partners, and the application of the offer does not impact the total earning of driver-partners who decide to accept a trip through the app. You can decide whether to redeem an offer on the app. Actual discount will be reflected and applied upon trip completion on your email receipt.
• The Offer is only valid within Hong Kong and when both the start and finish time of the Pair & Pay trips are within the Promotion Period.
• The promo code for this Offer (“Promo Code”) will be automatically added to the user’s Uber account after he/she has scanned the QR code on the Pair & Pay card (which prompts the user to download and sign up to the Uber app), and successfully paired his/her street-hailed taxi trip to the Uber app. It may take some time for the Promo Code to display in the “Promotions” section of the account.
• The Promo Code can only be used by the single user to whose Uber account it has actually been added; it is invalid if transferred, forwarded, or screen-captured. The Offer is non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be redeemed for cash.
• Only one promo code can be used per Uber trip. If your Uber account has multiple applicable offers, the system will prioritise the valid offer with the highest value that complies with the relevant terms and conditions.
• Each user may only possess one Uber account. If we have reasonable grounds to suspect that a user is creating fraudulent accounts or violating Uber’s General Terms of Use and/or Community Guidelines, we may suspend that user’s account, and that user may lose eligibility for this Offer or any other offers.
• The Offer is subject to other relevant terms and conditions. Uber reserves the right of final decision in relation to any promotion dispute. Uber has the right to modify these terms and conditions, change, or terminate the Offer at any time without prior notification to the user.
• Any trip-related issues may be reported via the “Help” section within the Uber App.
• If there is any discrepancy between the English and the Chinese version of these terms and conditions, the English version shall prevail.
