About the Role
The Product Operations team at Uber plays a crucial role in ensuring the development and rollout of the right products to drive our business forward. As a Senior Product Operations Manager, you will closely collaborate with cross-functional teams including Operations, Design, Engineering, Marketing, Legal, and other Product teams, to identify new business opportunities and prioritize product initiatives. You will be pivotal in ensuring Uber can build, test, rollout, and iterate on the best products for our UberEats consumers.

- Define the operating structure and processes to execute on product strategy
- Lead a community of strategic leaders to drive a significant impact to the business
- Maintain regular communications with key team members across the org
- Own the comms and messaging to drive impactful product launches
- Ensure functional partners are aligned on key objectives for the program/product
- Advise product teams on the global feasibility of products throughout the product lifecycle
- Develop an end-to-end product rollout plan, and project-manage implementation
- Collaborate with key team members (legal, tax, policy, support, etc) to prepare products for launch
- Track core business metrics related to the product
- Identify key problem areas and/or geographies impacted by product post-launch
- Surface and advocate for key insights from the business to advise product improvement and planning
---- Basic Qualifications ----
- Bachelor’s degree with a strong record of academic achievement; Master’s or MBA preferred but not required.
- 6+ years experience in Product, Operations, Program Management, Consulting, Finance or similar role
- Demonstrated experience owning complex, cross-functional initiatives, ideally within data-drive and consumer-facing product areas with global exposure
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence across functions and seniority levels
- Strong analytical skills, including SQL proficiency or equivalent experience, with the ability to evaluate success metrics and user outcomes
- Ability to leverage data to inform and support critical decisions
- Strategic alignment, able to bring key stakeholders across functions together
- Proven ability to define and operate product operating models, including guardrails, escalation paths, and scalable processes
- Strong product intuition and empathy for users across diverse markets and regulatory environments
- Experience prioritizing and supporting large-scale, global or multi-region product rollouts
---- Preferred Qualifications ----
- Strong business judgment, including the ability to balance growth, costs, and operational complexity
- Experience working with user or market research, legal, and comms teams a plus
- Previous direct experience working on consumer-facing apps, with a focus on multi-sided marketplaces
- Prior experience working with operations and/or commercial teams to bring a product to market from 0 to 1
- Prior experience mentoring and supporting junior team members
- Proven project & stakeholder management across large complex projects
- Ability to use strong judgement and intuition to drive action across cross-functional teams
- Ability to clearly and succinctly present information to external audiences
- Demonstrated ability to juggle competing priorities, projects, work streams, and challenges
- Comfort operating in high-accountability environments where mistakes have real user impact
For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$171,000 per year - USD$190,000 per year.
For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$171,000 per year - USD$190,000 per year.
For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. All full-time employees are eligible to participate in a 401(k) plan. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
