About the role:

Uber is growing its Tech Center in Brazil and we’re looking for a Senior Tech Recruiter to support multiple business lines and scale Engineering, Science, and Product hiring across LATAM.

The right person will be comfortable in an "all hands on deck" environment, loves solving people's problems and can thrive in a “fast paced” environment. This role is all about bringing on the smartest minds, maintaining our culture as we grow, and running an efficient and scalable process with our Seniors Stakeholders.

You will also have the opportunity to work on strategic projects to improve and innovate how we attract and recruit the best talent because we know that there’s always a better way!

What You'll Do:

  • Solid understanding of talent distribution via talent mapping, and uses this knowledge to develop and tailor effective pipeline strategies;
  • Guide the stakeholder through unique situations, sensitivities, and competing priorities using thoughtful business-backed and empathetic solutions
  • Regularly assess data to ensure reliability via established dashboards and reports
  • Communicate complex data into comprehensive narratives
  • Use market knowledge to advise Hiring Managers on potential bottlenecks and develops a strategy to influence the candidates’ decision to join
  • Understand interdependencies between functions (e.g. Mobility, Comp, Immigration, etc.) and adjust recruiting strategy to align
  • Continuously review the assessment process and proactively realigns with Hiring Managers when faced with bottlenecks

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Tech recruitment
  • Experience in full-cycle recruiting in both a fast-paced agency and corporate environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, Communications or similar preferred
  • Experience with manipulating and interpreting data to guide hiring decisions
  • Has partnered with a wide variety of clients, including senior level business leaders and seasoned professional candidates
  • Has experience hiring in an organization focused on cultivating a diverse workforce
  • English and Portuguese proficiency
