Senior Software Engineer

As a BE Engineer on the Communications Platform team, you'll work on the code behind apps used by millions globally every day. In hundreds of cities, people tap their phones to get a ride, get food delivered, or earn extra cash with Uber. ---- Basic Qualifications ----

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
2. Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Go, C++, etc.
3. Deep understanding of computer systems, which may include experience with backend services, large-scale systems, multi cloud infrastructure, etc.
4. Ability to contribute to technical innovation and problem-solving within a team setting.
5. 6+ years of experience as a software engineer and building large-scale distributed system
6. Experience in architecture design and developing high availability and high-performance systems.

8. Ability to perform in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with tight deadlines.
