Sales Manager, Automotive SMB, Uber for Business US&C
About the Role
We are seeking a strategic, resourceful, and driven Sales Leader to grow our newly formed SMB Automotive team. As a Manager of SMB Automotive Sales, you will recruit, develop and mentor a high-performing team of Account Executives to drive acquisition in one of the business's fastest growing segments. The ideal person would have experience focused on leadership in the SMB space, has a strategic mentality, is data-driven, and a self-starter who thrives in a dynamic and fast paced environment.

This is a hybrid role - our team collaborates in-person out of our incredible office in NYC on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. We encourage our employees to work from our office on additional days if they desire to do so.
What You'll Do
- Set strategy, create plans, and lead a sizable team to meet and exceed targets
- Partner with AEs to execute the full sales cycle, listen to prospects in order to understand business objectives and challenges, and align Uber For Business solutions to accomplish partner goals
- Manage and report accurate forecast and pipeline to achieve sales goals on a quarterly basis, and coach Account Executives on strategies to reach their goals
- Recruit, develop, and mentor Account Executives responsible for acquiring new logos on the Uber for Business platform.
- Responsible for establishing a customer obsessed culture that develops and operationalizes sales strategy to achieve sales critical metrics
- Establish effective cross-functional partnerships with Operations, Product, Engineering, Legal and Marketing teams
Basic Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience directly leading a sales team
- 4+ years of success in SMB or Mid-Market sales
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as stakeholder management, sales systems design
- Analytical mindset - ability to use data to quickly establish and drive high-value priorities and strategies
- A portfolio of achievement in growing a customer base and consistently exceeding revenue targets
- Motivational leadership style established through a keen ability to lead by example
- Desire to take initiative; lean-in with your team; thrive with change and comfortable with ambiguity
- Highly curious and a quick learner who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced collaborative environment
- Experience with Salesforce; ability to develop analysis based on CRM data in a scalable manner
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working or selling into the Automotive industry
- Experience with sales enablement tools such as; ZoomInfo, Groove, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Tableau, Google Suite
For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$132,000 per year - USD$147,000 per year.
You will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award, sales bonuses & other types of comp. All full-time employees are eligible to participate in a 401(k) plan. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
