Senior Client Partner, Ad Sales

About the Role

The Client Partner is a senior sales role based in our Sydney / Melbourne offices, responsible for the Australia Global / Enterprise restaurant brands. The Client Partner will manage a "Book of Business" comprising the largest QSR brands in Australia. You will work closely with our Delivery Account Management teams and Ads Account Managers to consistently deliver on our partners’ growth & marketing objectives. Reporting into the Head of Restaurant Advertising for ANZ, and in close collaboration with the Delivery Account Management, you’ll develop long-term strategic joint business partnerships that consistently deliver on the growth goals of your Restaurant partners.

The Impact You'll Have

  1. Strategic Account Leadership: You’ll serve as the primary strategic partner for major QSR advertisers, applying rigorous sales lifecycle management to maximize revenue. Within an established portfolio, you’ll proactively identify opportunities and address pain points to ensure consistent retention and growth. Adept at navigating ambiguity and developing bespoke solutions.
  2. Joint Business Planning & Growth Acceleration: Through the leadership of Joint Business Planning (JBP), you’ll elevate partnerships to long-term strategic collaborations. Acting as a growth accelerator, you’ll align Uber’s solutions with the partner's marketing calendar and ambitious objectives to deliver maximum impact.
  3. Data-Driven Negotiation & Value Creation: You’ll secure additional budget allocation and navigate complex deal-making by crafting data-backed proposals that demonstrate ROI, incrementality, and efficiency—guiding clients toward sustainable, high-impact demand generation strategies.
  4. Market & Platform Expertise: You will apply deep market expertise—including knowledge of the QSR landscape, ads platform competitors across traditional and digital (e.g., Meta, Google, TikTok), and Uber’s Demand Generation suite (Ads & Offers)—to implement solutions that deliver on specific customer goals.

  1. Enterprise Account Leadership: +5 Years Proven success owning and expanding major enterprise accounts, transitioning relationships from transactional sales to long-term strategic collaborations and Joint Business Plans that drive significant revenue growth.
  2. Industry & Platform Specialization: Expertise within the QSR, CPG, or Retail sectors, coupled with comprehensive knowledge of the traditional and digital advertising landscape and competitor ad-tech platforms like Meta, Google, and TikTok.
  3. Strategic Commercial Execution: A demonstrated track record of up-selling value-based solutions that increase client investment and drive meaningful business results, ensuring strict accountability for exceeding revenue targets in a competitive environment.

  1. Enterprise Account Leadership: +7 Years Proven success owning and expanding major enterprise accounts, transitioning relationships from transactional sales to long-term strategic collaborations and Joint Business Plans that drive significant revenue growth.
  2. Industry & Platform Specialization: Deep expertise within the QSR, CPG, or Retail sectors, coupled with comprehensive knowledge of the traditional and digital advertising landscape and competitor ad-tech platforms like Meta, Google, and TikTok.

  5. Analytical & Data-Driven Capabilities: Strong proficiency in interpreting performance marketing metrics and complex data, with the ability to translate insights into compelling, data-backed proposals that prove incrementality and drive decision-making.
