Marketplace Strategy & Operations Manager
About the Role
We’re looking for a strategic thinker, analytical problem-solver, and impact-driven leader to join our Mexico Operations team at Uber Eats as a people manager. As part of our Operations team, you’ll be at the center of it all—powering everything from daily improvements to big-picture strategy. You'll play a key role in keeping our marketplace balanced, efficient, and focused on delivering the best experience for our users. Whether it’s enhancing the experience for delivery partners, designing smarter incentives, or shaping how we launch new features, your work will directly influence Uber Eats’ success in Mexico.
This is a high-impact, high-ownership opportunity that blends marketplace design, product thinking, and operational excellence. You'll need to think big, act fast, and collaborate across teams to drive meaningful results.
What You’ll Do
Lead strategic initiatives that improve the end-to-end experience for delivery partners, merchants, and customers
Dive deep into data to identify trends, surface insights, prioritize challenges, and test solutions
Partner closely with Product, Marketing, Support, and Analytics teams to roll out scalable, high-impact programs
Develop and optimize processes that enhance service quality, reliability, and brand trust
Track performance metrics and continuously improve key operational lever
Advocate for delivery partners, ensuring their voices and experiences shape how we operate
What You'll Need
A minimun of 3 years of experience in operations, strategy, consulting, operations or data-driven roles
English proficiency
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in tools like Excel
Ability to think strategically and structure solutions to complex challenges
Proven experience leading cross-functional projects that drive measurable business impact
Comfortable navigating ambiguity and working in fast-paced, high-growth environments
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience leading and developing high-performing teams
Strong project management capabilities and a track record of delivering results collaboratively
Bonus Points
Background in marketplace businesses or on-demand platforms
Familiarity with customer experience design or operational process improvement
Experience working closely with Product, Engineering, or Analytics teams
Previous roles in consulting, business strategy, or tech-enabled operations
