Pricing and Governance Associate for Deal Desk

Sales Operations, Operations
in Mexico City, Mexico

About the role

We’re looking for a Pricing and Governance Associate for our Retail Deal Desk team. This role is the critical backbone of our commercial operations, ensuring that as we scale, our deal integrity, financial guardrails, and contractual standards remain world-class.

In this role, you will work across multiple regions globally. You aren’t just monitoring rules; you are helping build the framework that allows us to sign high-value partnerships with retailers and grocers while mitigating risk. We need a process-oriented leader who can navigate complex deal workflows (Salesforce and other CPQs) and has the backbone to enforce discipline in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do

1. Policy Framework & Guardrails: Partner with regional Deal Desk POCs to ensure structuring, internal negotiation and approval of the deals are following pre-aligned framework and guardrails for the respective regions.

2. Data & System Governance: Own the "Source of Truth" in Salesforce. You will ensure data integrity across pricing inputs, ensuring that every deal is documented correctly for downstream financial reporting.

3. Audit & Revenue Assurance: Conduct regular "Post-Mortem" audits of executed deals to identify performance and identify solutions to minimize exceptional concessions.

4. Process Transformation: Collaborate with Product and Tech teams to automate manual approval steps. Your goal is to make "doing the right thing" the path of least resistance for the Sales team.

5. Risk Reporting: Build and maintain dashboards that track deal velocity and other deal specific metrics, providing leadership with visibility into our commercial risk profile.

6. Deal Pricing and Structuring: Model economics of complex commercial retail deals, balancing aggressive growth targets with margin requirements and yield optimization.

Basic Qualifications

1. 3+ years in Deal Desk Governance, Sales Operations, Revenue Recognition, or Commercial Compliance.

2. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Law, or a related field

3. Good understanding of commercial contracting, SOX compliance, and the retail "Quote-to-Cash" lifecycle.

4. Tools: Advanced proficiency in SFDC, CPQ tools, and CLM (Contract Lifecycle Management) systems.

5. Analytical Proficiency: High level of comfort with Excel/Google Sheets; ability to use SQL and comfortable working with large datasets.

6. Bilingual Skills: Proficiency in English (required) and Spanish (preferred); fluency in additional languages is a plus.
