Sales Manager, Uber Mobility

About the Role

Mission: To expand partnerships with taxi fleets in both major urban centers and regional cities, maximizing vehicle supply on the Uber platform.

Positioning: An execution-focused role that leads frontline sales activities while bridging the gap between field operations and strategic functions like Sales Ops and Marketing.

What the Candidate Will Do

  • Partnership Acquisition & Negotiation: Secure partnership contracts with taxi companies in urban and regional cities to increase vehicle supply.

  • Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with Sales Operations and Marketing teams to execute campaigns and strategies that drive driver engagement and supply growth.

  • Relationship Management: Foster strong, long-term relationships with partner fleets and drivers to ensure engagement with the Uber platform.

  • Market Analysis: Monitor market trends in assigned territories and develop/execute action plans to accelerate growth.

Basic Qualifications

  • Basic: 5+ years of experience in B2B sales or account management with a proven track record.

  • Skills : Strong analytical mindset for data-driven decision-making and excellent project management skills involving multiple stakeholders.

  • Language : Fluent in Japanese; Conversational English (reading, writing, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Industry Background: Experience working with traditional Japanese industries or the mobility/transportation sector.

  • Business English: Proficiency in English for seamless collaboration with global teams and internal stakeholders.
