Fleet Performance Management Lead (m/f/d), Uber Eats Germany
About the Role
As the Fleet Performance Management Lead Germany, you will be responsible for the operational success and strategic direction of our fleet partner ecosystem.
You will lead a team of Account Managers and Operations Coordinators, ensuring that our fleet partners are performing at their peak and thereby enabling Uber to remain the most reliable platform for customer, restaurants, and fleet partners throughout Germany. Your mission is to standardize our approach, prioritize the right books of business, and drive the KPIs that lead to strong performance in all cities in Germany.
---- What You Will Do ----
- Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Account Managers and Operations Coordinators to meet ambitious growth and performance targets while re-defining our ways of working.
- Strategic Oversight: Own the "Book of Business" prioritization strategy, ensuring resources are deployed effectively across our most impactful fleet partners.
- Process Standardization: Identify gaps in current workflows and design scalable, standardized processes for fleet management across all German cities.
- Performance Management: Be ultimately accountable for German fleet KPIs (e.g., reliability, availability), deep-diving into data to course-correct underperforming cities or partners.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as a primary point of contact for senior leadership and stakeholders from commercial teams regarding German fleet health.
--- What You Will Need ----
- Full professional proficiency in German and English with excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to share information clearly with a wide range of stakeholders.
- 5+ years of experience in operations, management consulting, or tech, with at least 1–2 years of experience managing people or leading significant cross-functional workstreams.
- A track record of building processes from scratch or optimizing messy workflows in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong ownership mindset with the ability to independently drive workstreams forward, demonstrating excellent planning, organization, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Advanced Google Sheets & SQL skills with the ability to analyze and interpret data effectively.
