About the Role

As an Account Manager, you will play a key role in driving growth for one of Uber Eats’ top retail merchants. You will be responsible for strengthening existing partnerships and leading strategic business development initiatives. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will design and execute Joint Business Plans (JBPs), lead high-impact initiatives, and develop innovative sales strategies to meet and exceed commercial objectives.

In this senior role, you will oversee end-to-end account management, working cross-functionally with operations, merchandising, and catalog teams to ensure strong execution and a high-quality partner experience. You will also collaborate with global teams to align on best practices, share insights, and coordinate regional strategies.

Additionally, this role includes team leadership responsibilities, such as mentoring and supporting the growth and development of junior team members.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the commercial relationship for one of Uber Eats’ top retail merchants by managing Joint Business Plans (JBPs) and executing the commercial strategy through regular weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews.
  • Partner closely with catalog and operations teams to deliver a strong consumer experience, and collaborate with global teams to implement best practices.
  • Develop and execute plans to improve operational performance and create promotional strategies tailored to each merchant’s needs.
  • Identify opportunities and provide solutions to merchants by promoting Ads and Direct Benefits offerings.
  • Oversee financial processes to support sustainable and profitable operations, including invoicing and managing overdue accounts.

Basic Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of experience in sales, account management, sales manager or any other related field.
  • Experience in sales or trade marketing within consumer goods companies, retailers, and/or technology companies, with strong analytical, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across internal and external teams (e.g., Legal, Marketing, Operations).
  • Data-driven mindset with strong analytical capabilities to identify, quantify, and act on business opportunities.
  • Fluency in English (written and verbal).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience translating commercial strategies into clear, actionable plans and measurable results.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.
  • Collaborative, proactive, and growth-oriented mindset, with a willingness to learn.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, with strong attention to detail and execution.
