Product Manager II, Partner Identity
About the Role
Uber actively partners with third parties to provide Uber services and create magical user experiences that drive user growth and value with partnerships like Instacart, iFood, Grab, WeChat, and many more. These include a diverse set of partnerships, consisting of embedded Uber experiences on a third party, loyalty program integrations, M&A integrations, social signup & login and other use cases. This is a unique opportunity to enable billions of dollars of growth by creating delightful user experiences partnered with third parties.
At the core of these partnerships, the Partner Identity team shapes how users first interact with Uber and connect their Uber account to the 3rd party account in a seamless and secure way. As a Product Manager on this team, you will lead one of Uber’s most important growth opportunities. You will define how millions of users interact with third parties and engineer strategies to minimize time-to-market, building a powerful flywheel that amplifies user engagement and long-term value.
*Note this role will require working from our San Francisco headquarters.
What the Candidate Will Do
- Identify opportunities: Develop plan for how Uber works with third-party partners and allows users to seamlessly access Uber, uncovering ways to launch faster and grow our ability to support strategic partnerships.
- Build and optimize products: Deliver high impact, intuitive 3p experiences, Create platform features to enable seamless and secure linking of a third party identity and Uber and iterate to ensure partnership success.
- Drive Cross-Team Alignment: Manage complex stakeholder groups externally and internally across multiple products and geographies.
- Own Execution: You will lead cross-functional teams of engineers, data scientists, and designers to translate business requirements into high-quality technical solutions.
- Communicate and influence: Built superb documentation + easy to use products that any team at Uber can use
Basic Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years of experience as a technical product manager working on consumer facing products
- Technical Fluency: A computer science undergraduate degree or similar, including hands-on experience working with complex technical architectures and APIs.
- Execution: Experience working with cross functional and external stakeholders and delivering outcomes.
- Customer obsession: You have a knack for taking on complex product challenges and finding elegant solutions that are delightfully simple for our users.
- Desire to Grow and Learn: Aptitude and excitement to constantly learn about new partnerships / products within Uber.
Preferred Qualifications
- Domain Expertise: Experience with Identity, growth expertise, and A/B testing for consumer products.
A Drivers mindse t: You are biased toward action, a great collaborator, a master disambiguator/ simplifier, and constantly pushing toward clarity and delivery. You never hesitate to roll up your sleeves and tackle something hands-on.

For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$161,000 per year - USD$179,000 per year.
You will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. All full-time employees are eligible to participate in a 401(k) plan.
