At Uber, we see a meaningful opportunity to positively shape the travel experience for riders around the world. The India & South Asia (InSA) Airports & Places team is responsible for building and scaling Uber’s business across airports and other strategic hubs.

As Senior Operations Manager, you'll be focusing on delivering exceptional rider and driver experiences across travel hubs, while acting as a true strategic partner to airport operators, railway stations and other key ecosystem stakeholders. It goes beyond operational excellence — it is about resetting how we partner with airports: evolving from transactional contract management to long-term, strategic collaboration.

We aim to:

• Engage across the entire traveller journey, not just the pickup moment.
• Co-build solutions with airport operators that solve ecosystem-wide challenges.
• Deliver a simple, reliable and premium pickup experience tailored to airport environments.
• Expand our footprint across new and emerging airports.

What the Candidate Will Do

1. Own and deepen daily operating relationships with airport operators. Identify and co-build innovative mobility solutions across the full traveller journey.
2. Strategic planning, GTM, launch and management of new airports. Drive airport marketplace performance through pricing, incentives, supply positioning and category mix optimization.
3. Ensure seamless, scalable pickup operations with strong reliability, minimal wait times and operational discipline. Work with global Tech teams to launch and scale airport-specific Product innovations (e.g., PIN expansion, zoning models, new category rollouts).
4. Use data-driven insights to unlock growth, efficiency and incremental revenue opportunities. Build scalable playbooks and operating frameworks deployable across multiple airports.
5. Partner cross-functionally across BD, Policy, Comms, Product, RiderOps and Legal to deliver measurable results.

What the Candidate Will Need

1. 4+ years of experience in operations, consulting, strategy, business intelligence or related fields. Demonstrated stakeholder or partner management experience.
2. Strong commercial acumen and comfort in negotiation environments. Advanced Excel/data management skills; SQL strongly preferred.
3. Strong leadership and cross-functional influence capabilities. Structured problem-solving ability and intellectual curiosity.
4. High ownership mindset with bias toward action.
5. Ability to operate in ambiguity and scale processes across regions.
