Senior Operations Manager, Moto, Egypt

About the Role:

We're seeking a seasoned Senior Operations Manager to spearhead and scale our Moto (two-wheeler) operations in Egypt. You'll drive strategy, optimize supply and user experience for riders and Moto drivers, and ensure the success of this growing segment. This role demands strong analytical and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do:

• Lead Moto Strategy: Develop and execute the strategic vision and operational roadmap for Uber Moto in the designated market.
• Optimize Supply: Drive rider and Moto driver acquisition, engagement, and retention for a balanced marketplace.
• Ensure Operational Excellence: Streamline processes for efficiency, safety, and high-quality service delivery.
• Manage Performance: Monitor KPIs, identify improvement areas, and implement data-driven solutions.
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with Product, Marketing, Policy, and Support teams.
• Ensure Compliance: Adhere to local regulations and safety standards for Moto operations.
• Solve Operational Challenges: Proactively identify and implement scalable solutions.
• Analyze Market: Research the market and competition to identify growth opportunities.
• Drive Pilots & Expansion: Lead the launch and scaling of new Moto features and service areas.
• Engage Community: Build strong relationships with the Moto driver community.

What You'll Need:

• Min 5 years in operations management, ideally in transportation, logistics, or on-demand services.
• Proven success in launching and scaling new business lines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with data-driven decision-making.
• Excellent project management and communication skills.
• Deep understanding of marketplace dynamics and supply-side operations.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Knowledge of local transportation regulations (market-specific).
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, or related field.
• Fluency in English and Arabic
