About the Role

As a Program Manager for Site Technology at Uber, you will spearhead high-impact, org-wide initiatives focused on implementation and optimization of Audio/Visual (A/V), Network, and on-prem IT technologies across our global footprint of over 300 offices. Based within the Digital Experience team, you will own and drive project execution for integrating these critical infrastructure technologies.

Your primary focus will be leading projects to ensure seamless and standardized deployment of A/V, network, and on-prem IT solutions. You will work closely with Workplace and business leaders to align cross-functional teams and ensure delivery with measurable outcomes.

You will champion efficient execution, track progress against key metrics, proactively resolve blockers, manage risks, and communicate effectively with leadership and stakeholders. This role requires a blend of technical understanding, strategic thinking, and the ability to energize teams towards ambitious goals, ultimately ensuring Uber's physical spaces are technologically robust and efficient.

---- What the Candidate Will Do ----

  1. Lead end-to-end delivery of strategic technology programs that enhance A/V, Network, and on-prem IT infrastructure across global sites.
  2. Translate business and engineering objectives into actionable roadmaps, clear milestones, and measurable outcomes.
  3. Ensure programs adhere to standards and best practices defined by the cross-functional IT engineering pillars (A/V, Network, Compute, and Security).
  4. Identify cases where existing standards do not fit; work directly with engineering teams to design, validate, and implement scalable alternative solutions.
  5. Coordinate multiple project workstreams, proactively managing dependencies, risks, and execution challenges to maintain delivery momentum.
  6. Collaborate with regional and global partners to ensure consistency, alignment, and technical integrity across all deployments.
  7. Manage program budgets and forecasts, ensuring cost-effective delivery and transparency in financial reporting.
  8. Develop and maintain technical program documentation, playbooks, and process frameworks to enable repeatable and scalable execution.
  9. Provide clear, data-driven updates to leadership on program health, progress, risks, and business impact.

---- Basic Qualifications ----

  1. Proven track record as a Program Manager, successfully delivering complex, cross-functional technical programs, ideally in a large-scale enterprise environment with global offices.
  2. Direct, practical experience with A/V systems, corporate networking (LAN/WAN), and on-prem IT infrastructure (e.g., server rooms, access points).
  3. Solid technical aptitude; ability to understand technical challenges, architecture, and risks associated with IT infrastructure implementations.
  4. Excellent communication (written and verbal), stakeholder management, and influencing skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to make data-driven decisions objectively.

---- Preferred Qualifications ----

  1. Experience with on-prem IT infrastructure projects for large, distributed organizations.
  2. Understanding of network topologies and A/V control systems.
  3. Degree in a relevant technical field or certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL, CCNA, CTS).
  4. Experience in change management related to technology adoption and new system rollouts.
  5. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with frequent changes and tight deadlines.
