About the Role!
The Community Operations organization at Uber is responsible for delivering world-class customer support to riders, drivers, eaters, and couriers. Members of the Global Field Analytics team within the Community Operations organization deliver analytical solutions, such as reports or dashboards, and actionable insights that improve operational efficiency, enable scalable customer support, and help our operational teams drive a world-class customer experience.
This role will sit within the Technical vertical of the Global Field Analytics (GFA) team's Global Program team and will focus on improving the technical aspects of existing Global COE/GL data products and resources (many of which were created through Project Fount). This role will work alongside the project team embedded within the GFA Global Program team as well as each of the Global Field Analytics regional leads in order to close data gaps, create enhancements, and help to create a suite of data tables and dashboards that are operationally useful and accurate for all teams who would want to consume them.
Your Impact in Role:
1. Conceptualize and build reports & dashboards for a global COE audience
2. Write, validate, and modify SQL advanced queries
3. Identify trends in data sets & operational weaknesses
4. Help measure the impact of new processes
5. Perform business deep dives on data and insights generation
6. Support questions from requesters
7. Perform data mining or deep dives
Basic Qualifications:
1. At least 2 years experience in data analytics
2. Strong skills in SQL and Excel/Google Sheets
3. Experience managing multiple stakeholders
4. Proven ability to solve complex problems and providing streamlined, scalable solutions
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Experience with data visualization tools, e.g., Tableau (preferred) or Looker Studio
2. Experience working on a global team
3. Experience in SQL/Python.
4. Knowledge of customer support operations and metrics
5. Experience automating and optimizing reporting and internal processes
