This role is aligned to the GSS (Global Scaled Solutions) team in Uber. You will be part of the Engineering Services team in GSS where we build automations and tooling solutions for teams in Uber Operations and also collaborate with Uber Engineering teams in helping them scale integrations,Bugs triage and fix as well as partner with Central TPM teams on delivering tech wide initiatives. We work across all LOBs across Ops ,Product and Engg bringing in efficiency and impact for our stakeholder teams.Our mission is to Drive Engineering efficiency at Uber by managing diverse engineering engagements (development, Integration, Support) and delivering them through preferred vendor partners. As an associate Program Manager Tech, level 2, you will be responsible for leading the E-2-E execution of tech projects for our Engg/product/ops stakeholders through our preferred vendor partners.

**What you will do**

1.  Lead the end-to-end execution of tech projects for our stakeholders (Engg/Product/Ops) through preferred vendor partners.

2.  Act as the technical anchor: translate high-level business requirements into detailed technical specifications, architectural blueprints, and roadmaps, specifically leveraging AI to drive ROI.

3.  Design and oversee the development of distributed systems and solutions that are resilient, scalable, secure, and highly available, including the blueprint for AI/ML integration.

4.  Contribute to coding, perform code reviews, prototype solutions, and act as the primary technical point of contact to unblock engineers on solutioning, development, and deployToment.

5.  Lead cross-functional pods through the full SDLC, ensuring technical debt is managed and quality standards are consistently met.

6.  Drive the project agenda by creating and tracking schedules, aligning the team, and managing decisions, timelines, feature sets, risks, budget, and releases.

7.  Collaborate with key stakeholders across all job functions (internal and external) for scoping, prioritization, and aligning partners towards achieving desired outcomes and team OKRs.

8.  Focus on continuous process improvement by identifying and documenting best practices and reusable assets, and implementing effective project management practices.

9.  Stay current on emerging AI technologies (LLMs, NLP, or Computer Vision) and leverage this knowledge to build efficient Tech tools/solutions to improve operational efficiency.

**What you will Need **

1.  5–6+ years of experience as a TPM or PgM Tech, preferably within a product-organization.

2.  Deep technical expertise in microservices architecture, API design, and distributed systems, with an expert-level understanding of system design for high availability, fault tolerance, and massive scale.

3.  Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (preferably GCP or AWS) and a proven track record of shipping ML-based solutions, including understanding the model lifecycle (training, evaluation, deployment).

4.  Strong background in Python, Go, or Java, coupled with prior hands-on software development experience.

5.  Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) and experience working with cross-functional and global teams.

6.  Superior organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet tight deadlines, and prioritize effectively.

7.  A self-motivated leader with a strong bias towards action, strategic problem-solving, and the ability to drive end-to-end results in ambiguous and fast-changing environments.

8.  Excellent leadership, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical issues effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
