About the Role

Uber is a global company operating in over 70 countries, building innovative solutions that serve the world. The Internationalization (i18n) team is responsible for developing the foundational software and tools that enable Uber’s internal localization (L10n) processes. This includes creating scalable solutions for efficient translation management, quality assurance, and seamless distribution of localized content across products and platforms.

In addition to supporting Uber’s internal needs, the Internationalization team is expanding its vision by offering Localization-as-a-Service to external customers through Uber AI Solutions’ knowledge work marketplace. This initiative represents one of Uber’s most ambitious bets—to build one of the world’s largest marketplaces for knowledge work, helping businesses complete online tasks of varying complexity with industry-leading quality, cost efficiency, and speed.
