About the Role

The Strategy Lead, Global Membership will help shape and scale Uber One’s global membership strategy across one of three critical pillars: Growth, Engagement, and Experience. This role is part of the team responsible for accelerating member acquisition, deepening member value, and ensuring a consistently high‑quality experience for millions of members worldwide.

You will own strategy, analytics, and cross‑functional execution for one of these pillars, partnering closely with Product, Marketing, Business Development, Support, Operations, and Regional teams. Across all three roles, you will drive measurable impact, influence product and business roadmaps, and help define the future of Uber One.

Candidates will be considered for all three openings through a single interview process, with final alignment based on strengths, interests, and business needs.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and execute global strategies that drive growth, engagement, or experience outcomes for Uber One
  • Partner cross‑functionally with Product, Marketing, Analytics, Business Development, Support, and Regional teams to deliver high‑impact initiatives
  • Use data to diagnose performance, identify opportunities, and shape strategic recommendations
  • Build mechanisms, frameworks, and processes that scale globally
  • Define success metrics and ensure accountability for performance
  • Manage complex, cross‑functional projects from strategy through execution
  • Influence senior stakeholders through clear communication, structured thinking, and strong business judgment

Basic Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience, consulting, analytics in strategy, operations, tech, finance, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and data‑driven decision‑making skills, including SQL proficiency
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder multiple projects management skills
  • Ability to manage and deadlines simultaneously
  • Experience working cross‑functionally in fast‑paced, ambiguous environments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Financial acumen investments and and comfort evaluating returns
  • High standards and a bias toward action. You can find the context and information you need through relationships across the organization, you push for clarity and delivery, and you hold a high bar for your contributions and those of the people you work with
  • Experience with membership, subscription, or loyalty programs

For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$131,000 per year - USD$145,500 per year.

For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$131,000 per year - USD$145,500 per year.

For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. All full-time employees are eligible to participate in a 401(k) plan. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
