Senior Account Executive, Grocery & Retail, Poland

Sales, Sales & Account Management
in Warsaw, Poland

About the Role

Uber Eats is rapidly scaling its Grocery & Retail vertical in Poland, achieving 4x growth last year. We’re operating in an early-stage market with enormous potential. This role is about more than just closing deals; it’s about building a core pillar of Uber’s future in Poland from the ground up. You’ll navigate the high-stakes, fast-moving reality of an evolving market where the answers aren't always scripted.

Sales at Uber means navigating ambiguity, earning trust fast, and solving problems that don’t come with a playbook. You’ll need a "go-get-it" attitude and a team-player mindset to thrive here. It’s a role for someone who is resilient, resourceful, and energized by the messy reality of doing big things. If you prefer a polished, predictable environment, this likely isn't the right fit; but if you want to own your impact and grow alongside a massive challenge, this is where you’ll grow.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and grow long-term partnerships by understanding what matters most to Polish grocery and retail merchants—it’s about more than just selling a product; it’s about value.
  • Navigate the messiness of shifting priorities and internal complexity to unlock value for both your clients and Uber.
  • Identify, pitch, and close complex deals with senior stakeholders, managing the full-cycle from the first outreach to the first successful delivery.
  • Adapt your sales approach based on shifting market dynamics and imperfect information—there is no one-size-fits-all playbook for the Polish retail landscape.
  • Collaborate across operations, marketing, and legal to shape proposals, resolve blockers, and deliver solutions that scale.
  • Manage your pipeline with urgency and discipline, staying resilient through tough negotiations and the inevitable "no."
  • Communicate with clarity and negotiate confidently, ensuring that every partnership is built on a foundation of mutual trust and long-term sustainability.
  • Track the fine details and follow through on promises even when things get hectic, because at this scale, the impact is real.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience with 3+ years of B2B sales, specifically within Retail, FMCG, Marketplaces, or Franchise Networks.
  • Proficiency in both Polish and English (verbal and written).
  • Experience with full-cycle sales management, from initial prospecting through to final closing.
  • Strong skills in negotiation and deal-making, with a track record of securing stakeholder support.
  • Experience with data literacy, including the ability to analyze market trends and sizing opportunities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Grit and Resilience: A proven ability to stay motivated and high-performing in ambiguous or fast-changing environments.
  • Domain Expertise: Deep familiarity with the Polish grocery market or franchise systems.
  • Systems Thinking: The ability to understand how your deals impact the broader Uber ecosystem (Rides, Eats, Direct).
  • Collaboration: A history of working effectively across multiple functions to unblock complex sales processes.
  • Tool Proficiency: Experience navigating CRM tools, specifically Salesforce.
