About the role and team
Supporting drivers on the Uber platform isn’t about following a script—it’s about building real connections in a high-stakes, fast-moving environment. As part of the Perspective team, you will act as a dedicated concierge for driver partners, navigating the messy reality of their daily challenges to help them maximize their earnings and stay connected to Uber.
This role is for those who find purpose in meaningful service at scale and can balance empathy with decisive action. You’ll need the grit to handle emotionally charged situations and the adaptability to provide customized coaching as market priorities shift, ensuring every driver feels heard and supported through their most critical professional moments.
What you’ll do
Support drivers during critical lifecycle moments—from early onboarding to pre-churn—helping turn uncertainty into clarity through personalized, trigger-based outbound calling.
Make fast, thoughtful decisions in real time to provide customized coaching and recommendations that directly impact driver earnings and engagement.
Navigate ambiguity and shifting market priorities to deliver against complex KPIs like Gross Bookings and cancellation rates while keeping the driver’s experience at the center.
Act as the voice of the customer by capturing and escalating insights that identify patterns in driver pain points to improve the platform at scale.
Own a diverse portfolio of driver accounts, balancing immediate support needs with long-term relationship building to reduce attrition.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Ops and CommOps teams to remove blockers and shape the future of how we support our community.
Basic Qualifications
6+ months of experience in sales, retention, or high-touch customer support environments.
Experience maintaining performance goals (KPIs) while handling a high volume of customer interactions.
High school diploma or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Proven ability to take ownership and solve complex problems independently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong knowledge of driver support systems and the ability to adapt to evolving tools and policies.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a focus on empathy and clarity.
Systems thinking mindset with the ability to multi-task and follow through on promises with strict attention to detail.
