Strategy and Planning Associate
About the Role
The Strategy and Planning team’s core mission is to unlock growth for the LatAm Delivery (Restaurants) business by driving strategic alignment and operational excellence across markets. In this role, you will transform data into actionable insights and lead high-impact initiatives that support business growth across the Andean, Caribbean, and Central America (ACAC) region.
You will leverage strategic thinking, analytical problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration to identify opportunities, address challenges, and drive measurable business outcomes. What You Will Do
- As part of the Delivery (Restaurants) LatAm team, you will help drive key strategic priorities across the region, with direct responsibility for the ACAC markets (7 markets).
- Strategy Development & Execution: Lead end-to-end strategic initiatives that unlock growth opportunities across LatAm, with direct ownership of strategy development and execution for ACAC markets. Identify, evaluate, and prioritize opportunities that support long-term business growth and operational excellence.
- Cross-Functional Partnership: Serve as a strategic partner to local and central teams, fostering alignment on business priorities, execution timelines, and cross-functional dependencies. Collaborate effectively across commercial, operations, product, finance, and other stakeholder groups to drive successful outcomes.
- Insights & Communication: Develop clear, data-driven presentations and written recommendations that communicate strategic insights, project progress, and business results to senior leadership. Translate complex analyses into compelling narratives that support informed decision-making.
- Prioritization & Problem Solving: Prioritize strategic initiatives based on impact, feasibility, and business needs. Apply structured problem-solving approaches to address complex challenges and accelerate execution.
- Business Performance & Diagnostics: Monitor key business metrics and performance indicators. Identify performance gaps, uncover root causes, and recommend data-backed solutions to improve business outcomes.
What You Will Need
Basic Qualifications
- At least 3 years of professional experience in Strategy, Management Consulting, Investment Banking, Strategic Planning, Corporate Finance, or a related analytical field.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to transform data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
- Experience analyzing large datasets to identify key trends, opportunities, and priorities that inform business strategy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish.
- Proven ability to synthesize complex information into clear, concise narratives and executive-level presentations.
- Demonstrated experience using structured problem-solving methodologies to navigate ambiguity and develop actionable recommendations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leveraging AI tools to automate recurring processes, improve efficiency, and enhance strategic analysis.
- A proactive and execution-oriented mindset, with a focus on delivering sustainable solutions and identifying high-impact opportunities.
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and collaborating with diverse stakeholders across commercial, operations, product, and finance teams.
- Advanced proficiency with analytical tools such as SQL, Python, and/or advanced Google Sheets or Excel modeling to independently generate data-driven insights.
