Duties: Lead and support data governance initiatives focused on standardizing data definitions, improving data quality, and enhancing transparency across commercial systems. Assist in developing and implementing the Data Governance Operating Model, including defining roles and responsibilities, metrics, and reporting structures. Apply the governance frameworks to ensure data across Salesforce reflects the business accurately and supports compliance, onboarding, and access management workflows. Conduct data profiling and analysis to identify duplicates across our merchant account hierarchies, classify franchise/corporate relationships, and enrich metadata to support operational hierarchies and legal entity mapping. Support the development of an Operational Hierarchy Framework within Salesforce, defining ownership models to support solution selling across all lines of businesses. Develop and maintain data dictionaries, glossaries, and lineage documentation to drive consistent use of core data elements (CDEs). Create and maintain dashboard visualizations and data health scorecards to track data completeness, accuracy, and ongoing governance metrics using BI tools like Tableau or Power BI. Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales Operations, Product, Engineering, and Compliance teams to define data requirements, resolve issues, and deliver scalable data solutions. Contribute to training materials and enablement sessions to upskill business users on data governance standards, processes, and best practices. May telecommute.
Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Engineering (Any), or related field, followed by 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or in a related occupation.
Position requires:
- Understanding and experience with one or more of the following or equivalent data governance and data quality technologies - Informatica, Collibra;
- Designing and developing Data Governance (DG) technology solutions that includes data dictionary & business glossaries, data standards and policies, data lineage and catalogs;
- Creating detailed documentation related to Data Governance processes and policies;
- Experience with compliance areas for e.g. Contracts Management, Product and Asset Management, SOX regulations;
- Understanding of SFDC data architecture and data integration patterns, identifying and prioritizing critical data elements across SFDC objects, Data Quality Processes and KPIs, metadata management;
- Experience with data profiling, data discovery, data quality dimensions;
- Understanding of enterprise data concepts such as Master Data Management and Enterprise Data Warehouse, experience with MDM standards;
- Understanding or knowledge of SQL, and building DG metrics visualization using tools such as Tableau or Power BI;
- Experience training stakeholder teams on foundational processes and activities to bring data under governance.
