About the Role
In this role, you are the go-to person who will advise hiring teams and own the recruitment strategy to deliver an outstanding recruitment experience.
We are looking for a Senior Recruiter to support UberEats and Ads hiring across ANZ. You will partner with sourcing and hiring managers to build teams across our dynamic region and inform on hiring strategy to hire the right people for every job where they can make the biggest impact.
What You’ll Do
- Guides the stakeholder through unique situations, sensitivities, and competing priorities using thoughtful business-backed and empathetic solutions
- Regularly assesses data to ensure reliability via established dashboards and reports
- Communicates complex data into comprehensive narratives
- Uses market knowledge to advise Hiring Managers on potential bottlenecks and develops a strategy to influence the candidates’ decision to join
- Understands interdependencies between functions (e.g. Mobility, Comp, Immigration, etc.) and adjusts recruiting strategy to align
- Continuously reviews the assessment process and proactively realigns with Hiring Managers when faced with bottlenecks
- Solid understanding of talent distribution via talent mapping, and uses this knowledge to develop and tailor effective pipeline strategies
Basic Qualifications
- Shapes and influences requisition strategy (leveling, location, etc.) using talent market insights, while proactively building more equitable and diverse pipelines and mitigating bias throughout the hiring process
- Advises business leaders and interviewers on candidate selection, ensuring alignment on preferred qualifications and consistent, high-quality assessment standards
- Acts as a strategic point of contact for business stakeholders up to Director level, owning and strengthening client relationships
- Serves as a subject matter expert, driving team initiatives (e.g., stale candidate management) and contributing to continuous improvement of recruiting practices
- Demonstrates team-wide impact by role modeling best practices, elevating standards, and supporting the success and development of others
Preferred Qualifications
- Deep expertise in hiring across ANZ, with strong understanding of local talent markets and ability to advise on complex hiring strategies
- Track record of influencing senior stakeholders (Director+), acting as a trusted advisor and driving alignment in ambiguous or high-stakes hiring decisions
- Advanced sourcing and pipelining capabilities, including building diverse, high-quality talent pools for hard-to-fill roles
- Demonstrated impact beyond individual reqs, leading initiatives, improving processes, and elevating team performance through best practice sharing
