Senior Account Manager, Mobility
About the Role
The Mobility Operations team is responsible for bringing Uber's vision to life in Japan.The team is responsible for strategy creation, and execution for our Driver and Rider focused activities. Operations are all about running our business with executional excellence and helping our driver-partners and riders get the most out of the Uber platform. As a Senior Account Manager, you’ll help us grow by driving performance from our fleet partners. You’ll be a key player in building solid partnerships with our strategic partners.This is a highly cross-functional role that combines data analysis, and scalable outreach execution.
Your Impact in Role
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify growth opportunities and key areas for improvement.
- Define the necessary data points to solve complex business challenges and develop hypothesis-driven action plans.
- Deliver data-driven strategic proposals to business owners and senior managers to drive consensus and informed decision-making.
- Translate strategy into reality by getting hands-on and executing initiatives alongside partners on the ground.
- Build and maintain robust relationships across all levels, from business owners to frontline drivers, to capture and address operational realities.
- Drive change by proposing new product features or pilot programs and securing partner agreement and support for new initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to feedback frontline insights into product and operational improvements.
What You Will Need
- Extensive experience in account management.
- Strong data literacy: ability to define required data sets and derive actionable insights to solve problems.
- An execution-focused mindset with a "hands-on" approach to completing projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Japanese and English.
- Ability to lead through ambiguity and mobilize stakeholders to implement new ideas and initiatives.
- Proficiency in SQL to independently extract, process, and analyze data is preferred
