Senior Mid-Market Growth Account Executive, Uber for Business, Mexico
About the Role
Sales at Uber means navigating ambiguity, earning trust fast, and solving problems that don’t come with a script. As a Senior Mid-Market Growth Account Executive, you aren’t just managing a portfolio; you are responsible for architecting the growth strategy within it. You will own the most complex, high-potential accounts in Mexico City, turning messy business challenges into scalable movement solutions.
This isn't a "business as usual" account management role. It is high-stakes, fast-moving, and often ambiguous. You will be expected to move the needle by making hard calls with imperfect information and owning the outcomes. We are looking for someone with a "go-get-it" attitude—someone who doesn’t wait for a playbook but builds one. If you thrive on ownership, stay steady under the pressure of tough renewals, and are energized by the challenge of expanding Uber’s footprint across massive, complex organizations, this is where you’ll make your mark.
This is a hybrid position based in Mexico City (3 days/week in the office).
What You’ll Do
Architect Account Strategy: Own and aggressively grow a portfolio of Uber’s most strategically important mid-market accounts, identifying not just the obvious wins, but the complex, high-impact opportunities others miss.
Navigate Complexity: Influence and align multiple senior stakeholders across disparate departments to drive adoption of the full Uber product suite (Eats, Central, Vouchers, etc.).
Lead High-Stakes Negotiations: Drive complex contract renewals and expansions with a value-capture mindset, navigating pricing pushbacks and internal legal/operations hurdles to close deals that scale.
Drive Commercial Excellence: Use data and market expertise to forecast with precision, identify churn risks before they happen, and prioritize your time against the highest-value activities.
Influence Without Authority: Collaborate across Product, Operations, and Marketing to unblock technical barriers and shape the future of the U4B platform based on your clients' real-world feedback.
Solve Through Ambiguity: Adapt your strategy in real-time as market dynamics shift, staying resilient through long deal cycles and the inevitable "no" until you find the "yes" that creates mutual value.
Raise the Bar: Act as a mentor and "bar raiser" for the wider team, sharing best practices in deal-making and account planning to help the entire Mexico City hub move faster.
Basic Qualifications
Professional Language Proficiency: Fluent in Spanish and English is mandatory for collaborating with global product and leadership teams.
5+ years of B2B Sales/Account Management experience: Proven track record in a SaaS or high-growth tech environment, specifically managing and growing a revenue quota.
Complex Stakeholder Management: Demonstrated experience navigating and influencing C-level stakeholders within organizations of 1,000+ employees.
Strategic Planning: Proven ability to build, execute, and iterate on multi-quarter territory and account plans.
Preferred Qualifications
Systems Thinking: The ability to see the "big picture" of a client’s business and connect Uber’s digital and real-world solutions to their core financial and operational goals.
Data Literacy: Advanced proficiency in Salesforce and data analysis to drive strategic decision-making and identify hidden growth patterns.
Grit and Adaptability: A history of thriving in environments where change is constant and the path to success isn't always linear.
Collaborative Leadership: Experience leading cross-functional projects (e.g., product launches or complex implementations) that required alignment between sales, ops, and tech.
Uber's mission is to reimagine the way the world moves for the better. Here, bold ideas create real-world impact, challenges drive growth, and speed fuelds progress. What moves us, moves the world - let’s move it forward, together.
