About the Role
Advertising at Uber means navigating ambiguity, earning trust fast, and solving problems that don’t come with a script. As a Partner Manager for our Retail vertical, you aren't just managing accounts; you are building long-term, high-impact partnerships in a fast-changing environment where performance and client satisfaction are the primary metrics.
This role is high-stakes and grounded in the reality of doing big things at scale. You will lead with an Owner Mindset, connecting major Retail brands to our global user base across Mobility and Delivery platforms. We are looking for someone energized by the pressure of managing a campaign lifecycle from the first kick-off to final reporting. If you’re ready to help "write the playbook" rather than just follow one, this is where you’ll grow.

Trip Obsessed: Act as the Voice of the Customer for the Retail vertical. Deeply understand client marketing challenges and proactively recommend solutions that solve real-world needs.
See the Forest and the Trees: Manage the granular details of complex campaign executions and technical specifications while maintaining high-level relationships with key marketing decision-makers.
One Uber: Serve as an indispensable cross-functional lead, collaborating with Product, Marketing, and Ops to ensure seamless delivery and total organizational alignment.
Build with Heart: Bring your Analytical A-Game to the table. Develop data-backed methodologies to highlight trends and provide meaningful insights that drive better performance and increased investment.
Great Minds Don’t Think Alike: Employ critical thinking and creative problem-solving to navigate difficult partner conversations and unique business challenges.
Execution Excellence: Drive internal initiatives and help build best-practice playbooks that increase team efficiency and drive partner adoption at scale.
Basic Qualifications
Experience: 4+ years of full-time professional experience.
Account Management: Proven track record in end-to-end Large Customer Digital Advertising Account Management.
Preferred Qualifications
Scale & Complexity: Experience running large-scale ad campaigns and partnering with sophisticated, global Retail brands and agency partners.
Data-Driven Storytelling: Expert ability to flex analytical skills and use data to quantify opportunities and influence executive decision-makers.
Operational Rigor: Excellent negotiation, forecasting, communication, and organizational skills.
Speed & Resourcefulness: High learning agility and a Go Get It mentality; comfortable navigating ambiguity and making smart decisions with imperfect information.
For Canada-based roles: The base salary range for this role is CAD$135,000 per year - CAD$150,000 per year.
